The last one is what it used to be. This shot is how it is now Support. There is no System Update Function. Please advise

 Support.  You are saying that by selecting the update icon it will not remove my programs that I currently have now. When I go there to UPDATE the Important notice shows up again and wants me to agree.Specifically warns NOT  to install the optimization pack if your update subscription period has expired and mine has expired Please clarify in detail step showing how this will work and how will I know there is another system update available like to remove the Important notice that always pops up? Please advise
